I've just realized Hmm I have very heavy deep lines on my forehead, between my eyebris and around my eyes. There's lots of talk about retinol and hydr-sonething acids, but could anyone just recommend me one product that might mi imise these lines getting worse? Mid range price too, don't want to spend more than £30.
TIA

Tretinoin! It's a prescription strength retinoid, and after using it for 8 months it has transformed my skin. I'm late 30s, and my wrinkles have softened and skin is glowing. Look at a company called Dermatica - they will assess your skin and send you a monthly prescription tailored to you.

If you get it every 2 months instead of every month (which I do, because a bottle lasts me 2 months), it works out £10 a month prescription.

Be aware that it can cause irritation/dryness/a few spots when you first start using it, but nothing you can't handle and if that happens you just space out your application. Loads on the internet about tretinoin - lots of good tips on how to use properly. It's a long term solution, takes 6 months to start seeing decent results, but it's great. I plan to use it for the rest of my life if I can. And it really does work!

Thanks Marbles321 will check it out. Can it be used on hands too? I've seen nicer camel's feet 😭

Yep can be used anywhere. But you need to make sure you wear a high spf if you use it, so that would include back of your hands too. So tretinoin at night, 3 or 4 times a week is what I use. And then I wear at least spf25 every day, year round.

Tretinoin will not help with forehead wrinkles, they are expression lines and will keep reappearing. Botox is the only hope but it works brilliantly. I appreciate it's way over the budget you set.

I'm afraid only botox will work on forehead lines (and it works beautifully). Yes, tret will help a tiny bit but it's a long term thing and will only scratch the surface on established lines. Don't waste your money hoping for a miracle!

Tret has definitely helped my forehead lines. I have a v expressive face, and a ladder of lines up my forehead! They are still there of course, but they are definitely softened and less prominent. For me, tret is the best non surgical/invasive option I think. But yes if you want rid completely, botox is the only way to go.

For a very cheap easy way to ease the ‘eleven’ lines between the eyes get some Frownies off Amazon. They are sort of stickers that gently uncrease the lines.
They are fab! Think you can use them elsewhere on your face too but primarily they are for the ‘eleven’ lines. HTH

I use these and think they are better than frownies (I have bought both) you look less of a dick in bed!! But they do work...
