Olaplex

After reading so much good stuff about Olaplex No 3 on here and in other places, I gave in and bought some despite it being ridiculously expensive. Well I used it for the first time yesterday and left it in for a few hours (wrapped hair up in a towel) before rinsing and shampooing and conditioning as usual and then leaving to dry naturally. I was expecting to be slightly more blown away as currently I can’t see or feel any difference at all. I’m underwhelmed so far......
To anyone who has used it, is it the kind of thing where you noticed straight away or did it take a couple of applications? Any tips?

@throwaway10000 I think I was expecting my hair to be smoother and sleeker and just generally healthier looking. Wouldn't have a clue how to go about getting 1&2 done in a salon, just googled it and can't find any that even mentions olaplex. Maybe I need to buy 0 but I can't bring myself to spend another £26!

Yeah don’t buy 0 just yet, wait for more reviews!

I have noticed that less salons offer the Olapex treatment, but most have their own version. Search for “bond building” salon treatments in your area.

It has a cumulative effect. I was also unimpressed after my first use. 6 months in and my hair is transformed. No need to leave it on longer than 45 mins x

I have 1&2 at the hairdressers and have 3 for at home. I put it in at night and leave overnight and wash in morning. I ran out before lockdown and can definitely tell a difference in my hair
