I want to build my own eye shadow palette - is this still a thing?

Feeling minimalist I hate having shades I never use. I want to build my own palette and I thought that there were brands who did this, mac, nyx, but when you go to their websites, it doesn't seem to be offered (except in a very very limited way, only a few shades to choose from).

Somebody's missing a trick.

Wow, looking at inglot, if I combined ''fire it up'' with ''beautiful storm'' that would be every colour I need and no ridiculous colours sitting there annoying me. i hate that for some reason!

Also had a look at those pixie stackables and if you like the idea of trinny london stackables but can't afford them, take a look at pixie stackables.

Thanks for the ideas Wine

Bobbi brown sell empty palmettes in their website. Put it in search box to find them. They also have 20% off and a free cream if you spend £80!

Annebronte · 08/11/2020 19:09

Palettes, not palmettes!

@OwlOne

Oh wow, I missed all the suggestions the first time.

Thanks everybody. I didn't know urban decay did this @supadupapupascupa. I like their ranges, I"ll have a look.

I'll google magnetic tins now thanks @Medea11

I will have a look at Elf as well

Thanks for that link @TheGreatDiamondo HOW did I not find that link when I was googling ?!?! and thanks @purplemunkey

I'll have a look at Trish McEvoy as well

I wish I could go to a shop and have a proper look at the shades, see if they're matte or shimmery. It can be hard to tell on line.

Tropic do them, and they're really good quality too (if a little pricey).

I bought a couple of pretty magnetic palettes from Etsy and then depotted my Naked palettes and a few singles. There's loads of videos on Youtube to show you how to do that.

I was coming onto this thread to recommend Trish McEvoy - I’ve been accumulating eyeshadow singles for years.

Anastasia Beverley Hills do pallettes and you can buy single colours to build your own ☺️

I can’t use Trish. Really irritate my eyes. Also once they have your details, the ‘clientelling’ is intense.
