Shampoo/conditioner/other stuff for daughter

I'm after some recommendations for shampoo/conditioner/other stuff such as leave in serums for my youngest DD (aged 12). Her hair is naturally blonde and wavy, but it is incredibly dry and frizzy to the point of being almost unmanageable! She is starting to say that she hates her hair, and is feeling self conscious about it at school. We've tried quite a few different things, from supermarket brands, SLS free, diffent sorts of serums, hair masks, and leave in products...but nothing seems to make it less frizzy. At the moment she is using a Tigi shampoo/conditioner for dry/damaged hair which leaves my hair smooth and shiny, but it doesn't help hers at all!

Any recommendations of what to use/how to beat the frizz would be most gratefully received!

Hairdresser applies conditioner direct to the hair and leaves it in. It makes a high difference

She should also get a curly cut, this will define her curls.

My hair tends to be very frizzy and I have tried loads of things over the years. Someone reccomended the body shop banana shampoo and conditioner and I has made a huge difference to me. You might want to try

Scrunch tiny amount of conditioner or diluted conditioner into the curls.
Any conditioner will do.

Use an afro comb not a brush. Comb thoroughly before washing.

Fab, thank you! My hairdressers won't see kids at the moment, so she's not had it cut for a while, which I can't do anything about until the restrictions are eased a bit. I will suggest she puts a little bit of conditioner in and leaves it in, and I will try the banana shampoo/conditioner too - although she doesn't like bananas, so I'm not sure how well that'll go down!

And dry hair by wrapping an old t-shirt round it, not by rubbing it with a towel.

Get the hair cut by someone who can cut curly hair. Not everyone can.
Not helpful advice in a lockdown, sorry.

Oh and embrace the golden halo. Straightened hair is so boring.
My friends with naturally curly hair straighten it and live in fear of humidity or having no frizz-ease. Why???

Don't wash hair more often than you have too (weekly?) (or look at the curly girl / no poo) method).
