Is the Liberty advent calendar too old for a 21 year old. She likes high end make up brands and products the type that you find in the cult beauty calendar.
I don’t want to check the products as I bought one for myself. Thank you

An example of a calendar that is too old for her would be the John Lewis’s one.

Possibly yes . My DP gets Liberty for me and my teen likes some of the products . I’ve bought my 19year old the John Lewis one this year but think Space NK would be a good choice for high end lover too .

Thanks @bengalcat I will see if the Space NK is still in stock and have a look. I have been unwell and left it too late this year I think.

If she wants make up rather than skin hair, maybe something like the MAC calendar would be a good idea? I think Liberty is targeting an older demographic.

Alternatively, the current Cult Beauty GWP offer looks pretty good - you could spend a similar amount to an advent calendar on full size products from Cult Beauty you know she’ll like, and then use those plus the GWP (which even includes a £15 voucher) to fill an empty calendar?

@AprilLady I had a look at the cult beauty GWP it is really good. Just don’t know what I need to buy from there.
What’s your opinion on the Mac calendar? I am
was suspicious that because it’s still in stock that’s it’s not worth the money?

MAC claim it is “worth” over £300. Most of the single brand calendars have a much less good ratio of cost to claimed “value”, so I think are only worthwhile if you love the brand and will use the vast majority of the products. This is different to the multi-brand ones where in reality you are probably only going to love a small number of the products, and there will be some you know you will never use ( For me: pillow sprays, mists, self-tanning products, black eyeliners etc etc!) so you need a higher cost to supposed value for it to be worthwhile.

Do you want it all to be a surprise for your DD? My slightly younger DD would feel really spoilt and thoroughly enjoy investigating products and finding a way to spend £180 at Cult Beauty. The contents of the GWP could be kept a surprise?
