Paula's Choice One % retinol

Has anyone used Paul's choice 1% retinol? (purple container.) l've bought the travel one just to see if l could tolerate it and no adverse reaction so far. Just wondering if anyone has had good results. I'm an oldie so don't expect miracles but live in hope!

I found it quite good (but have upgraded to tretinoin since, and this is far superior)

I've been using it since April, alongside the AHA stuff and Peptide Booster. My skin (which is pretty good - I don't smoke, drink or sunbathe) looks good, fresher. I'm 56.

Thank you both. BatshitCrazyWoman, l'm in my 60's so a late starter to Retinol but any improvement would be nice. My skin's not too bad for my age, l don't smoke or drink either and always wear factor 50 but have lots of laughter lines so was hoping to see a difference there. What AHA and peptide booster do you use by the way?

The Peptide Booster is from Paula's Choice, as is the Daily Smoothing 5% AHA stuff.

Thanks Mrstwiddle, that's worth knowing. Re Tretinoin, l was thinking of working up to it but thought l would try the non prescription retinol first to make sure l didn't react badly. I've seen Dermatica recommended on here for obtaining Tret so will investigate that.

That's interesting - I've had mine since April, it has the '12 months' label on it (meaning it lasts 12 months after opening) and it's in a pump bottle that doesn't let air in. It's still fine.
