Best discovery this year - let's share

Last month I finally got round to trying a Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara Primer that I got in a Christmas (!) gift set.

It is total game changer and definitely my best discovery of the year. My mascara (Benefit Bad Gal Bang) goes on so much better, need to use less and stays perfect all day with no smudging or panda eyes.

What has been your best find this year so far?

During lockdown I discovered John Frieda Defy Grey shampoo, conditioner and mousse. I've been really pleased with the results and have given up dying my hair since using this to blend in grey hairs instead.

This is a really expensive one but I first got a sample in a GWP beauty box and became hooked as its a miracle product on me.

Nature Bisse Diamond Cocoon Sheer Eye Cream. A little goes a really long way. I have always had bad dark circles but this hides them in such a natural way, without any caking from foundation or concealer. I've never had such a good result and I've tried loads of concealers. It brightens up the whole eye area and is also a proper eye cream. It makes a huge difference for me. I usually go without foundation as my skin doesn't really need it, and a bit of this and I look fresh and better without having put any make up on.

I've just bought a full size bottle but I know it will last me a very long time as the sample last me ages. I'm not going to use it at night, just during the day.

Wow shampoo from M&S. Had a tester sample in the summer and kept getting comments about how great my hair was looking. It is expensive, but you don't need to use much. I have hair that is bordering on fine, and with grey/silver starting to appear. Went back to the normal shampoo once the tester was finished, and no-one commented on my hair. Invested in a proper bottle, and lots of people have said how good my hair is looking! I have bought the conditioner as well, but the shampoo alone seems to work!

Just discovered Trinny Woodall’s make up range. Have never been a big fan of hers but bought three products - BFF cream, Golden glow bronzer and travel make up brush stack. I am very impressed by them all.
