Has anyone ever used these products? Quite interested in the miracle blurb(said to hide fine lines and pores). Any feedback?

I love watching Trinny’s videos, she is so engaging and has great style trips even if I wouldn’t wear 90% of her wardrobe!

However, she has so many treatments and uses so many skin products her skin must be made of rubber! I don’t know how she can tolerate so many chemicals on her face.

I don’t like the surgery she’s had but I do love her joie de vivre and the way she communicates with women. For all her posh-girl vibe, she’s very real.

I used to love Trinny London, I still do like it and use the odd product, but after two years (and literally hundreds of pounds) I’ve got back to my old makeup bag.

I really did like the products and got my mum into them but I’ve just slowly came away from them in favour of my other things.

I’ve used 3 or 4 tubes of the BFF, I really do love that. Used up a whole Just A Touch and am on to my second and used up a BFF eye.

I like the majority of their products but I prefer my Bobbi Brown pot rouge for lips and cheeks now, lasts longer on the face and has a nicer finish for my tastes

I use Wisdom and Fortune eye to eye also after owning all of them!

The lip products are great but I found I never reapplied when I was out so they were only really used once a day. I also much prefer gloss but didn’t really like their gloss version.

Thismustbelove · 25/10/2020 20:39

The lip products are incredibly drying. They are more like lip stains. Really awful.
The cheek products are difficult to apply and crumble..
The packaging is cheap looking.
The match to me didn’t work our for me. The colours didn’t match my skin tone at all. As you can’t return them once opened, they were a costly mistake.

I like Trinny. I enjoyed her tv programmes, her books and her Zara hauls.

I wanted to like her products. I bought a stack and was very disappointed. I gave them away and went back to Mac which is vastly superior.

@LittleEsme I recently bought that wireless curler and I love it. I was crap at styling my own hair but this is a game changer!

Go and look on Amazon at the reviews - there are lots of generic brands that do exactly the same thing for half the price.

Purplecatshopaholic · 26/10/2020 13:26

I use Trinny London and rebuy numerous products. Others work less well - like most brands I expect it depends on your skin. I swear by the BFF cream and wear it loads. Also like the new BFF Serum - wearing it today. I don’t even need under eye concealer when using it - just on its own with powder. I don’t wear the Serum on top of the Cream, that doesn’t work for my skin (it pills). I like the Miracle Blur and rebuy it as it works better for me than Porefessional by Benefit or Bobbi Brown Pore Perfector (tried various combos, lol), buts it’s still not the panacea we would all love, lol. TL eye shadows are great, but I don’t like the lip products consistency - I adore the colour of the Valentina Lip Love and do use it, but find it very drying for my lips. Overall, a mixed bag, but the good products are very good (and you may like the stacking concept too).

I'm the least germphobic person going (and roll my eyes at the Beautypedia vendetta against jars) but the idea of a make-up stack that you're supposed to stick your grubby 'on-the-go' fingers in throughout the day... No.

CremantCharlie · 27/10/2020 06:53

Trinny's lips always look dehydrated. Some previous posters mention that the lip products are drying. Maybe that is why.

mrsjg · 27/10/2020 07:24

I have quite a bit of it and have used it on and off for the last two years. It's a bit meh if I'm honest. The BFF doesn't really do anything for my skin. I like the idea of Just a Touch in that you apply it only where needed as opposed to the whole face of traditional foundations. Miracle Blur does nothing for me, a complete waste of money and I'm not going to get the new Destress as it's £££. The lip2cheek are really drying. The eyeshadows are good and the bronzer and highlighter are good too.

At the moment I'm loving the new IT Cosmetics foundation. Their CC cream just didn't work for me at all so I'm surprised their foundation did. The shade I use is a perfect match for my skin. So I'll probably use a combination of both brands.

If I'm honest I don't think I'll repurchase Trinny London once they are empty. I will however continue to follow her on Instagram as she's entertaining.

LittleEsme · 28/10/2020 09:32

Aaahhhh I really like the idea of the Miracle Blur but there are too many mixed reviews.

Baring in mind my makeup routine is strictly moisturising, concealing a few spots and filling in my baldy eyebrows, is there any product like MB that would suit me?!

She’s brilliant on Instagram - so engaging. The thing about miracle blur is you can never quite see on camera what difference it’s making. She rubs it on but doesn’t go in close for you to see the difference. She is in raptures about it though! It always makes me wince that she doesn’t put on lip balm, just lipstick straight into very dry lips. How do people do that?

Others who follow Trinny’s Insta - does anyone else cringe at Friday twinning with Chloe? I can’t bear it! The faux jollity and squealing. I half wonder if Trinny is mocking the woman? She always looks so bad in the things they have to wear. And the same products on a different face looks very different indeed! Trinny must have magic filters!

I still love her.

MissEliza · 28/10/2020 15:43

I got some in August. I love the creamy eyeshadow. It's a nice natural look. The BFF serum has made my skin really hydrated but doesn't provide much coverage. I've been using it in tandem with Rosalique cc cream which is great if you have redness in your skin. I've tried hard to like the lip2cheek recommended by Match2me but I'm giving up now. It doesn't feel right on me and it doesn't last long at all.

CremantCharlie · 28/10/2020 18:48

@TheNewLook Friday Twinning always makes me clench everything. So cringey. Rarely do they look good in the same things, they are completely different shapes, and most of the time it does not work.

febel · 03/12/2020 10:00

I am interested in this thread as feel my present foundation (mineral powder) might not be best for my ....older :-( ....skin. I know a lot of you ladies are younger than me...I am in my early 50s but have fairly good skin although had an unexpected bout of rosaccea for the first time in my life over March lockdown...stress or hormones I think....cleared up now thanks to skin antibiotic cream.
So....do I go for (expensive and I can't get a tester...have done match to me) Trinny or something else. (I used to use Estee Lauder double wear a few years ago but seems to look v cakey on me now) I like coverage and would love to look natural like Trinny and others on insta....prob need a permanent filter on my face!

Letsrunabath · 03/12/2020 10:20

I bought miracle blur on the recommendation from a friend who swears by it. I think it’s rubbish. Love no 7 airbrush, got it a few years ago in my advent Callander and have continued to purchase it.

Lndnmummy · 03/12/2020 11:27

I caved in and bought the serum. It’s rubbish. Sits on poor and lines and makes skin look really dry. The lip to cheek and concealer that I got as testers were rubbish too.

justanotherneighinparadise · 03/12/2020 12:44

Every time I think of her I think of Saatchi’s arse hanging out on camera. It’s all that’s associated with her name now on my head 🤣
