There are so many and I haven't bought any for ages. Just finished up a massive bottle of sanctuary and fancy something really lovely and relaxing, as a bath is now previous relaxing time since having DS!

What's your favourite?

I just got some REN rose otto on recommendation from here. Lovely, but quite expensive.

Splurge: anything by Aromatherapy Associates.
Budget: Radox Original (smells very herbal) with 3 good scoops of either magnesium flakes or Dead Sea Salts. Magnesium helps relax & aids sleep. The Dead Sea Salts soften skin. I have very dry skin & this combination means that I don’t have to moisturise afterwards.

Brands I don’t rate: Neals Yard - smells great but leaves my skin very dry.
I love a good soak. It’s been my daily escape from reality since March.

When someone else is buying for me: Floris oil, especially Edwardian Bouquet. Smells like heaven and is always the bath oil of choice when someone wants to seduce someone in JIlly Cooper novels.
Maybe I subconsciously want to Rupert Campbell-Black to ravish me?

When I'm buying it: Epsom salts with either some essential oils dropped in, or a bunch of herbs from the garden! It always bemuses my DH.

I find that bath oils are too oily and leave the bath with an oil slick.

I prefer bath milks.

I use Badedas for “ordinary” baths, I was gifted a set of Espa bath oils which are what I use when I’m needing a bit of pampering - they smell gorgeous.

The Fortifying Green Potion from Magic Organic Apothecary is really different and makes for an amazingly uplifting bath. Definitely a morning use, it's awakening and sets you up for the day.

Fenjal and Badedas have always been my go to since I was a child. I guess for me they're just super relaxing.

Aromatherapy Associates bath oil is amazing. A bit pricey but you don’t need a lot. Your skin will feel so soft after a soak in it. The scent stays on your skin all day and I can smell it all upstairs when I have used it. Nothing beats it imo. Used to love Jo Malone but this is a lot nicer.

Elemis, they do a fabulous bath milk and an even fabulouser 😆 muscle ache soak which is amazing after a long day of grafting in the garden or wherever. It’s does warn though not to use the muscle soak if pregnant.
They also have an oil that you put on damp post bath skin, I only bought it because it came in a pretty blue bottle 😂 but it’s great!

Aromatherapy Associates are my favourite too, seems expensive but only need a few drops so last a while. I've tried the others and nothing else has the same potency.

Like pp, fenjal and badedas are my usual budget choices. Badedas is super cheap in home bargains atm and you can buy different scents of fenjal from the website notino (they are the ones on sale in Europe which I can’t find anywhere else in uk.

I love pehaligons if someone else is buying - especially Malabar

I also love having a matching scented body lotion for after the bath - can get fenjal one relatively easily (or from notino) but have never seen a badedas one - would love to know if anyone has found a good body lotion/butter to “go” with that one.
