Too many choices!

Spanx, Wacoal, Trinny and susannah's, M&S magic knickers?

After baby no 2 have lots of extra wobbly bits and previous M&S ones hold in my tummy but all spills out the top - grim - and they roll down!

Any experienced opinions? If they really work Im prepeared to pay!

I have just worn some aristoc hour glass shape tights and they are fab - loads better than knicks the band goes up to bra so no muffin top and effect was fab even my gormless boss asked if I had lost weight when I had then on!

themoon66 · 12/10/2007 14:25

ZZmum just said what I was going to. These tights were reviewed in a magazine I read yesterday and I'm planning to go get some tomorrow. I will report back.

LoveAngel · 12/10/2007 14:27

The Sapnx that have the straps that attach to your bra are good, although I would only wear them on a special occasion as they aren't exactly comfy! x

themoon66 · 13/10/2007 19:56

Right.. I went all round bloody Meadowhall today and no hourglass tights to be had. Bugger.

But, bought mega expensive body thing with wired bra attached. It is 'firm hold' and is marvellous. £39.50, but well worth it to acheive size 10 with not a lump or bump in sight, even in close fitting sweater dress!

boompi · 14/10/2007 23:23

ordered horglass tights online - will feed back...

boompi · 05/12/2007 10:47

spanx are great

MuthaHoHoHubbard · 05/12/2007 23:09

just got some trinny & susannah ones, fab!!!

me23 · 07/12/2007 09:30

I bought some spanx yesterday, the higher power ones! I'm very dissapointed, they didn't make any difference at all in fact I felt worse in them!
spent £23 as wanted to look nice for a work do, and they're non-refundable.

Dropdeadfred · 07/12/2007 09:35

why/how did they make you look worse?

GLAMpresentsforMAMAplease · 07/12/2007 09:38

I had some spanx and i thought they were great. They were also very good for going to the loo drunk due to being crotchless

nappyaddict · 07/12/2007 10:23

are these the hourglass tights?

nappyaddict · 07/12/2007 10:26

i have heard the trinny and susannah ones are best. never heard of wacoal.

me23 · 07/12/2007 10:27

they make me look pregnant as have pushed bulge up and in from the sides. I've tried them on again with a different dress, and thee bulge on the sides is slightly better but as I side has been squashed into my tummy so it's sticking out!

EniDeepMidwinter · 07/12/2007 10:27

i dont like spanx
m and s big tummy pants are the best IMO, not too corsety and good and high for muffins

nappyaddict · 07/12/2007 10:32

me23 were the pants or tights?

nappyaddict · 07/12/2007 10:33

EDM - do you mean the magic knickers? i found them total shite!

CodRestYeMerryGentelmen · 07/12/2007 10:33

EniDeepMidwinter · 07/12/2007 10:58

i have these simple and they are good enough

nothing a couple of years of pilates cant cure

me23 · 07/12/2007 13:11

I bought the higher power spanx high waisted power panty.

kittylouise · 07/12/2007 13:16

Trinny and Susannah control knickers are ok. Go right up to below your boobs, and are like cycling shorts down to just above knees. They fit very well and I am very long waisted.

To be honest they don't make a dramatic difference, but they did make everything look smoother. Wore them with fave skinny jeans and a long, tight top, and it removed the bit of bulging around the middle.

It doesn't make you look like you have lost a stone, or whatever. Don't expect miracles.

Just wish they were in black in not grim fleshtone which makes me feel deeply unattractive.
