Does anyone use a facial oil instead of moisturiser?

If so what do you rate? I find moisturiser’s don’t agree with my skin, they block my pores & always break me out.
I’ve tried so many so I’m trying to look into whether a facial oil will be ok.

Yes - I make my own with 30 mls of cold pressed apricot oil and 20 drops each of turmeric essential oil (evens out complexion) and tomato seed oil (powerful antioxidant). People always tell me I don't look old enough to have a daughter at uni (I am and I didn't have her at a ridiculously young age) so it must be doing something right.

To use it I massage five drops of the oil mixture onto my damp face after washing.

I've only tried 2 so I'm not an expert but after reading a lot of threads on here and a test in an airport I'm a big fan of Ester Lauder night repair. I use it in the morning or evening depending on when I've exfoliated properly Grin

The Ordinary rose hip seed oil is amazing. Really light but very moisturising. I also use it for oil cieansing. It's cheap too!

I muck about with my own oils for hot cloth cleansing and moisturising. I don't love the feel of oil on my face for daytime, so I tend to blend it with dirt cheap simple moisturiser - I find that way it all sinks in more easily.

I use decleor or Darphin, and love both.

I use oil at night and moisturiser in the morning, after a serum. I find using a high quality oil (like decleor, Darphin, or clarins) is definitely worth the splurge, as they last ages.
