Will waxing my face and neck give the same results as dermaplaining?

I need to get rid of my fuzz but I feel so reluctant to shave it

I think the major difference is the fact that only waxing is used to remove hair while dermaplaning is primarily for exfoliatiation and also happens to remove hair. If you just want to remove hair, go for it with waxing but it won't provide you with the exfoliatiation of planing. Waxing is harder on your skin though so if you have sensitive skin I would go with dermaplaning.

I used to wax my upper lip (or have it waxed, could never do it myself) before I got annoyed with the redness and occasional small bumps and switched to dermaplaning. Picked up some Japanese 'eyebrow razors' and have been happily dermaplaning ever since.

It sounds like razoring your face - I’ve never felt the need of that for exfoliating

I think I might exfoliate and wax the edges a bit

What a mare
I'm getting more fluffy by the day
I don't know why this is happening to me

I have just been using a normal razor,it’s absolutely fine I don’t understand why people are so reluctant to shave the fluff off their face. The hair is still fine and blonde and grows back imperceptibly

There’s no way on earth I would wax my face, you’re asking for spots and a sore face
