Dungarees, jumpsuit or boiler suit?

I was looking at buying some dungarees but perhaps a jumpsuit or boiler suit would be more comfy?
I've given up on jeans because they either ride too low or the high waisted ones feel too uncomfortable.
I'm working from home this autumn/winter and doing school run, so just want something casual, comfortable but flattering. What would be your choice?

As my user name suggests I live a jumpsuit. I'm a size 20ish though so boiler suits don't look great on me. I see boiler suites as being a more utilitarian jumpsuit. I think you need the right figure to make a boiler suit work rather than look like you're doing some work on the house. There are some lovely jumpsuits around.

It's an unpopular opinion but I think dungarees make you look like a children's TV presenter. But I do understand they are popular.

I love my jumpsuit. So comfy and with a tie around the waste I think it looks fine

Lol @Plussizejumpsuit, I know what you mean about dungarees and children's TV presenters!
I can see that boiler suits may not look good on every shape. So do you think jumpsuits will be good for winter? I feel like the material may be more suited for warmer weather.

One (or more) of each!
Jumpsuits are the smarter/classier option
Dungarees l can either make you look artsy or like a toddler depending on how you style them (I have several pairs!)
Boiler suits are super comfy and like dungarees the look you get depends on how you style them, but there’s a fine line between looking cool and creative and looking like a plumber Grin the Lucy and yak boiler suits look great because they’ve got an elasticated waist so have a bit of shape to them but they’re not cheap. Monki do great boiler suits if you’re short but I’m 5’8” and find them too short in both the arms and legs

I think a boiler suit is a bit like a dress in that it’s “one and done”. Which is great. I had a couple, but sold them on because I did look a bit like a Kwik Fit Fitter.

Dungarees to me are more versatile - I wear mine with t-shirts, jumpers, or blouses and they look different each way. I have two black pairs, one Whistles and one Boden, and I really do love them - even though my DP hates them! I also found it annoying that I had to strip to my bra every time I needed a wee in a boilersuit. At least in dungarees you keep your top on.

I’m 5ft 6 and a 10.

Thanks for the tips on good boiler suits @2Kidsinatrenchcoat. I'll check those out. I've seen a nice white stuff one. I wonder if I could pull it off...I'm 5"5 and size 12.

@Judystilldreamsofhorses lol at looking like a Kwik fit fitter in yours!

Yeh I'm drawn to dungarees too because of the versatility, and not having to strip down to my bra when going to the loo!

I do think jumpsuits can work for winter I normally wear them with a long cardi as I think they need a short jacket or something longer as I feel a hip/bum length jacket/cardi whatever doesn't look right. One thing I'd say is if you are somewhere really cold going to the loo can be chilly!
