If you had £100 to spend what would you buy?

Boots!
I'm going to win the Lapland competition.

TigerFeetInLovelyNewShoes · 11/10/2007 13:26

Lapland competition???
[wonders if it's about time for a streak of competition winning luck]

Boots, agree, but WHICH ONES???

I need about £500 to spend [ungrateful]

IMHO i'm not that fussed on most of them sorry

cornsilk · 11/10/2007 13:28

Damn! I should have kept my mouth shut about that one.

quint · 11/10/2007 13:28

Lucy Boots in Brown

quint · 11/10/2007 13:29

You cant win the lapland comp cos I'm going to!

woodenchair · 11/10/2007 13:29

Another vote for the Lucy boots. Not sure which colour though. They look similar to the fly ones

Tutter · 11/10/2007 13:29

the gemma ones beautiful but only good for tottery nights out

MamaG · 11/10/2007 13:30

You know, I think its thanks to ME that you won this. Itake full credit.

Now, whats your usual style

Suits?
Jeans?
Somewhere in between?

Do you like heels?

MamaG · 11/10/2007 13:35

festive season appraoches

with this

leaving £50 to spend on these babies - great with jeans

I think these would be very versatile

TigerFeetInLovelyNewShoes · 11/10/2007 13:37

I thought of you and your delicate legs when I found out MamaG

I am very casual in my style - jeans/combats but I work FT in an office so need to be reasonably smart for that

I am in dire need of a nice pair of shoes for occasions such as weddings (not that I go to many, but hey-ho)

I am rather fond of these shoes but am not sure whether I would wear red shoes much. Am considering the black ones

I like these but I think the style might date quite quickly - I could wear them at work or at home

TigerFeetInLovelyNewShoes · 11/10/2007 13:39

Hmm am liking the shoes/bag combo, could come in handy. The round toes ones would look better with my stumpy legs too.

OP posts:
MamaG · 11/10/2007 13:40

I wear red stilettos with my black suit at work [tart]

I lik ehte red shoes you linked to, don't get black as you'll feel great in the red ones. Becuase they're a bit diferent, they'll make you feel very stylish imo.

The boots are OK but I prefer the ones i linked to

MamaG · 11/10/2007 13:40

I love round toed shoes

There is a bag to match the shoes, but I prefer this one. I don't lik eto be too matchymatchy

TigerFeetInLovelyNewShoes · 11/10/2007 13:48

dh bought me a red handbag that would look fab with the red shoes [sigh]

so could well be red shoes, round toes posh shoes & bag

leaving no money for boots or shoes for jeans [sigh]

what to do, decisions decisions

OP posts:
MamaG · 11/10/2007 13:53

the read shoes would look great with dark blue jeans

MamaG · 11/10/2007 13:54

or even the RED shoes!!

TigerFeetInLovelyNewShoes · 11/10/2007 14:12

Yes they would, wouldn't they? But I would have to buy an entire new wardrobe for them!

I might get them anyway, would be great for work with my red bag and black office wear wardrobe.

Maybe the brown round toes shoes for jeans

But I want some Booooooots toooooooooo

I like the brown Lucy ones

This is so hard

TigerFeetInLovelyNewShoes · 11/10/2007 14:19

OP posts:
MamaG · 11/10/2007 14:20

now you're just being greedy

TigerFeetInLovelyNewShoes · 11/10/2007 14:22

p'raps I'm showing off my prize a leeedle bit too

so - two pairs of shoes or a pair of boots?

I already have smart black boots and casual brown ones

So it should be shoes, right?

But there are some lovely boots

OP posts:
BabiesEverywhere · 17/10/2007 17:10

Wow, Lucky you winning the competition.

My opinion is that you should buy the first lovely red shoes and put the other £50 towards the boots when you have saved up the reminder of the cost.

You only live once and this is an unexpected gift...buy me says the red shoes...sod being practical
