shawl/cape that looks not too frumpy?

I've recently start getting hot flushes. Loads of them. Cardigan on, cardigan off, cardigan on, cardigan off, many times an hour. It's a pain. I don't want to wear anything too hot as it's much harder to take layers off and on when they're proper jumpers or whatever. When I do get cold again in between, it's my arms especially, so just vests/gilet type things aren't quite right.

What else might look OK? Obviously from my mentions of cardigans, you can tell I'm not stylish at the best of times, but I don't want to look to frumpy. Some kind of cape or shawl that is easier to keep putting on and off without messing up the sleeves of whatever I'm wearing underneath? I'm size 16ish and nothing I wear is very formal or anything, tunics, cardigans, jumpers etc. But I seem to be sweating and boiling, or otherwise chilly, so nothing is quite right on its own.

I spend much of the day on Zoom, so I'm mostly only visible from shoulders upwards, but even then, wrapping up in a blanket isn't ideal as I need my arms free to move around, though I have thought about it!

What else might look nice?

I got a really lovely jumper/ pocho thing- it looks like a jumper but the sides are open with poppers

I got it at a charity shop which isn't helpful but I have ssen them in Joules and Thought before

Thanks, there's a Joules in town, so I will have a browse there to see what they might have. Cardigans and jumpers are just so awkward to be putting on and off all day, and I don't need anything formal like a jacket.

I often wear loose smart vest tops- hush has some nice ones- with a big slightly off the shoulder Cardigan, no buttons. I can just shrug it off if needs be, not a question of struggling out of layers. I know that’s not what you asked but I think a loose cardigan can basically function as a shawl- just resting on your shoulders.
Are the cardigans & jumpers you’ve got fitted? Do they cover the upper chest? Because I’ve found that is the worst- I need to ensure that area can breathe. Low tops are a necessity!

The cardigans are not hugely fitted - not tight - but still just look a bit inelegant getting them off and on all the time, especially with sleeves underneath. The rest of the time when I'm cold, it's my arms and upper chest/neck that are cold, so maybe things like scarves etc might be more helpful. It's really frustrating, cold to hot several times an hour. I'll see if I can find looser ones and maybe just rest on my shoulders.

i've never looked at Hush before, will keep my eyes open
