How do you all wear your midi/maxi skirts in winter? I struggle with what coat to wear with them. Any I try look ridiculous so I always end up in jeans!

Jacket rather than a coat?

I’m planning on wearing my midi skirts and dresses with an oversize masculine wool blazer or a slouchy belted wool trench this autumn/winter.

I think turtlenecks look good! I am always cold and find they really keep me warm in the colder months. Haven't quite mastered the look with a jacket/coat. Have you looked on pinterest for ideas?

Big long cocoon coat, plus scarf, doesn't matter if the skirt is slight longer.

I can’t get midi skirts to work in colder weather, but dresses are okay - no idea why! Per pp I wear either a jacket/scarf (leather biker) or a cocoon shaped teddy fur coat, which is just below knee length. I on,y wear them on dry days, flappy wet skirts are NOT good.

I have thin merino polo necks from Cos I wear under dresses, or long sleeved scoop neck Uniqlo heat-tech tops.
