My DD is 16 and has recently put on a lot of weight - which we are trying to sort out.
However she told me last night that she has a non uniform day on Thurs which she is dreading as she believes that she does not look good in any of her clothes at the moment.
We are off to buy her something new tonight after school - can anyone suggest where we can look for reasonably trendy clothes in a size 16.
She is adopted and a completely different shape to me and I find it difficult to know what styles would suit her best.
Can anyone help ??

Your poor DD, it's so important at that age isn't it?

Topshop do size 16, maybe have a look online if she is self-conscious going there? She could get a few things to try at home and then see what works?

Sorry, just seen you are going shopping tonight. Try Topshop, I only said about possibly feeling self-conscious going there because I feel huge in there myself and I'm only a 10/12...

What about New Look? Avoid Zara at all costs.

What about a floaty tunicy top and leggings?

thanks for suggestion will try Topshop.
I didnt realise until I took her shopping a few months ago that some shops only stock up to a size 14.
She was so and when I had to point it out to her.
