Fringe with thin hair

I was messing about with a face-editing app and I really like the look of this fringe. Ignore the red hair, the app changed my natural colour. As you can see from the original on the left, I have a bit of a bald patch right at the front. My hair is also thin, probably lost as much as half of my natural hair, and it's not coming back.

Do you think a wispy fringe like this would work? Would it disguise my bald patch? I've come to terms with it but am fed up with looking at the massive expanse of forehead.

I think the fringe looks great and it does seem to hide your small bald patch, I think it’ll look great in your dark color too and may not even be wispy as your hair doesn’t look it

I suppose I'm also a little concerned that with that sort of fringe you might end up looking straight into the roots, making the thinness of my hair even more obvious.

@Dilbertian I think a fringe is a great idea. It would break up the expanse of forehead you don’t like and conceal the thinning patch. I would go for it. Your hairdresser will be able to advise, but I wouldn’t have it too wispy. Good luck.

Looks really good OP! I wouldn't actually have noticed your slight bald patch if you hadn't mentioned it, but I think the fringe suits your face shape and makes the hair at the top look thicker. Go for it!
