Could anyone please advise me the best Ordinary Vitamin C product to use in the morning under moisturiser & SPF 50 please?

I hated their vitamin c serum. It had a weird gritty texture. The one from Purito is much better. Face theory also do a good one but it stinks

I love the Vit C from the Ordinary. I use the 23 % one. I do only use it at night, 3 times a week. It is gritty in texture but has changed my skin for the better unlike any very expensive creams. My skin is 100% glowing in the morning after using it the night before.

I wouldn't use it in the morning though.

Have you tried buffet and their squalene for moisturising in the morning?

I really really want to get along with the Ordinary. Heard so many great things about it and I like it's no nonsense non flowery approach but it did nothing for my face except increased facial hair :/

I've hated everything from TO.

Best Vit C for me is Vichy Liftactiv. Love it.

Just finishing Garden of Wisdom (similar price point to TO) it was nicer than TO but not as nice as Vichy. I hear good things about Inkey List and Superdrug.

Skincare experts recommend vit C in the morning as you shouldn't use it with retinol etc products which you are going to use at night. If you aren't using any retinol product then you could use it at night instead.

Have heard great things about GoW but never tried. Am using Dermatica at the moment 🤞

I didn’t like TO Vit C (got terrible piling) so use Indeed Vit C. I get it from Amazon normally.

Thank you all for your replies. I’m going to give GoW a go I think.

Morning regime is Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser & toner, (followed by GoW vit c serum when I order it), Liz Earle superskin moisturiser, then wait 5 minutes & use NUXE SPF50 - wait again for 5 minutes then put make-up on.

Evening regime is Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser, toner & superskin concentrate (planning to change to a retinol serum when this has been used up) & this is currently followed with a cocoa noir night cream.

I’ve been told Superdrug hot cloth is as good, if not better than, Liz Earle so was thinking of trying this.

I’m mid-40s with skin that used to be dry & sensitive, but seems to be ‘normal’ now. A few light lines started around laughter lines & above top lip. My neck & décolletage seem to be getting a bit crepey now.

Does anyone think my skincare regime can be improved at all?

The Ordinary just confused the heck out of me. I now use Eucerin Vitamin C/Hyrulonic (or however you spell it) serum and that is one of the few products that makes a difference to my skin, it’s great.

I do also rate the Superdrug Vit E hot cloth cleanser.

I've been using the Ordinary Vit C (23%). I like it. I'm not sure it's made a huge difference but I've got an age spot which I think it's fading a bit so I'm going to persevere. It's a heavier texture than I expected. It feels rich enough to use as a night cream. It's got squalane in it too which is apparently some super moisturiser. I like the fact it's silicone free as silicone tends to aggravate my skin and give me spots. It's cheap as chips so worth a go.
