The absolute best natural looking eyebrow make up that ever existed

I over plucked my eyebrows in the 90s and the bastards never grew back. I had microblading that never really worked (sobSad) due to oily skin so the colour won't stay. What is the absolute best eyebrow make up out there that won't give me the sharpie look or smudge and slide off my face after an hour. As I said, I have really oily skin so pencils just disappear after a while. My eyebrows are really far apart so I have to fill in the parts at the top of my nose so need something that looks as natural as possible.

Dior brow styler, not cheap but will last ages.

I use the collection pallet which, on it's own, is average. I also use the revolution brow tint which lasts about 3 days and is only about a fiver. The collection pallet and the brow tint together look good imo.

Following for other, no doubt, much better ideas though Smile

go for a tattoo (ombre brow I think they call it) instead of microblading. I have oily skin as well and that's what was recommended, they said exactly that with my skin, microblading simply won't stay.

I'm pale with almost none existent eyebrows. I use a product I have had in the cupboard for ages called Dyella - which is actually an eyelash dye. Its brilliant. It has a tube and a mixing solution so you can make a bit up at a time. You just daub it on and it only stains the eyebrow hairs, not the skin. It last as long as your eyebrows.

Soap and glory archery in the shade 'brownie points' I've trued them all! Anastasia, urban decay, glossier, benefit, you name it. I'm a red head and everything is either too dark or has an odd orangey tinge to it. This one is the holy grail, it's a very cool toned product and you use the felt tip end to paint on very thin, light strokes that create the illusion of hair, set it with a clear grow gel and it stays until I wash it off at night. I will NEVER buy anything else!

Anastasia brow wiz is good or the NYX fine point pencil (forget the name). I use a combo of products but do have existing brows. I think a lot of it is getting a good colour match (not too warm or dark) and using something with a very fine point to 'draw' in individual hair strokes. If I were having an issue with no hair in the inner brow I would use a slightly lighter shade there than i would on the arch/tail and blend to get the natural look. Set with something like Glossier Boy Brow to define the hairs and give back that look that there are hairs there and not a block colour.

If I struggle to find the right pencil shade I use eyeshadow in the right shade and a fine angled brush. Then the clear gel or boy brow to set and comb upwards to define the arch. Does the same job.

Maybelline has a new eyebrow product out, it’s supposed to have a microblading effect, tempted to try it.

At present I’ve got Benefit Foolproof tin and I really like it. I’m like you and I don’t have any eyebrows near my nose at all and what hair I do have on the rest of them is sparse. The Benefit stuff makes me look like I have actual eyebrows and a couple of people have asked me where I had them done.
I said ‘by me, in my bathroom’

Not makeup , but usee Rapidbrow twice daily on your brows. I find that when I do it religiously my brows thicken up. .

winterisstillcoming · 07/09/2020 16:22

In the nicest way, I'm going to suggest Paula's BHA 2% salicylic acid to help with the oiliness. It's a toner that literally empties your pores, so your skin will be a oil slick for a few days and then much better. If you've tried it before, then apologies.

Macramacious · 07/09/2020 17:02

I have no eyebrows at all in the mid section so tints and dyes won't work unfortunately.

Googling all your suggestions, thank you.

I have sparse fair-ish brows and the best pencil I have found after trying what feels like hundreds over the years is Fenty Beauty Brow MVP. They have loads of shades, I use light brown. It's good because it's buildable so you get a really natural look and mistakes are easy to correct. It has good staying power too, Good luck in your search!
