And what could I wear them with?

These

I don’t hate them. I had a pair like that in about 1997 though.

I’d wear them with cropped trousers or a skirt. Quite versatile I think, the colour makes them suitable for casual dress or not very strict office wear.

Frogerty · 31/08/2020 20:02

I basically want something dressier than flip flops/sandals for summer and autumn wear.

I think they’d look good with blue or black skinnies but not sure what else. Maybe longer length dresses in denim or black/white/block colours?

Ah yes, cropped straight leg trousers would look good

I think they’ll look good with most things tbh! So long as your skinnies have a tiny gap of skin between them and the shoes I mean. They should be quite comfy as well with the stacked heel.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 31/08/2020 20:35

I don't like them, sorry.

blisstwins · 31/08/2020 20:38

I especially like the heel—looks rounded and a little different.

Thesheerrelief · 31/08/2020 20:45

I like them a lot!

keepingbees · 31/08/2020 20:48

I agree with the above poster that they're very 90's.
I think you could maybe carry them off with skinny jeans but I think they'd look dated with a dress or skirt. They're not horrible though.

ZowieCavie · 31/08/2020 20:48

Love them! Bit high for me thought. Think they’d look great with a pleated midi skirt!

emilybrontescorsett · 31/08/2020 20:52

No I don't like them. Just personal taste but I dislike open toes on anything other than a true sandal type shoe. These are too much of a mash between a boot and a sandal for me. Disclaimer: I have never owned a show like this so my opinion is only based on pre conception.

MikeUniformMike · 31/08/2020 20:58

I like the style but not the colours. Navy oor a darker brown would be better.

Ellapaella · 31/08/2020 22:16

Not keen - sorry it's the round heel that puts me off. If you want a summer shoe with a chunky heel look at Sezane, lots of nicer options there.

Shannith · 31/08/2020 22:19

God no. Sorry. I too wore these in the 90's. In white. Oh god give photos. I looked terrible. Don't do it.

WineGetsMeThroughIt · 31/08/2020 22:29

Not for me. They're quite clunky (and dare I say cheap - sorry!) looking. I agree with the other posters that they look quite dated. I think you can do better

Bbq1 · 31/08/2020 22:56

They're OK but again they have a very 90's vibe. Don't know if I'd have thought that though if a pp hadn't pointed it out.

They would probably look nice with the right outfit.

Palavah · 31/08/2020 23:00

Better in tab than in black.

Wear with cropped wide or cropped/rolled-up straight leg jeans or midi skirt or culottes.

Hugely impractical for autumn.

ArtieFufkinPolymerRecords · 31/08/2020 23:24

I don't really like them and don't think they'd look good with skinnies at all - they'd be better with looser fit jeans if you really wanted to wear them with jeans.

Bella2020 · 01/09/2020 00:31

I love them! I think tapered trousers would look great with them, and midi/maxi skirts & dresses

I wish I could find some just like those, but with a lower heel, maybe an inch or so. I've never been able to find any.

MinnieMousse · 01/09/2020 00:35

I lived in those in the 90s! So comfy. I'd be happy if they came back in. They would work well with bootcut jeans - see the thread from the other day Grin.

Bluesheep8 · 01/09/2020 13:19

I think they're hideous, sorry but you did ask.

CatBatCat · 01/09/2020 14:27

The peep toe and heel cut out is like the cold shoulder of the boot world. What is the point?
