Sustainable fashion that isn't baggy?

Do any of you any sustainable fashion brands that don't have everything in a loose baggy fit? I want to try to be more ethical with what I buy but I'm a size 14 so a baggy dress for example just looks like a sack on me.

I like Lucy & Yak and I’m also a 14. Their trousers can be baggy but I simply buy a smaller size than normal, I think they actually look better in a smaller fit. The dungaree sizing can be hit and miss and tbh I’m not a fan of the cut, I do find them unflattering and they seem to have lots of quality control issues which isn’t great as they aren’t cheap.

Community Clothing probably worth a look, it's a mix of fitted and looser shapes but tbh, charity shop/second hand has more choice and not buying new is considered a better ethical choice.

Thanks both! I'll take a look.

I know buying secondhand is better but I'm don't want to the shops if possible right now and returning second hand clothes is far harder when shopping online.

Sezane do better in some areas than others, here’s a review of how they are doing in terms of sustainability: www.curiouslyconscious.com/2020/03/is-sezane-sustainable-fashion-brand.html/

I mostly by second hand but I stick to a handful of brands so I can be more confident that stuff will fit me.

People Tree, Rapanui and Finisterre might be worth a look.

Have you looked at baukjen?

ParcelFarce · 25/08/2020 21:14

Another vote for People Tree, though I’m finding it increasingly hit and miss.

I like Thought Clothing - some of it skews a little art-teacher but by no means all. I also keep getting ads for a company called twothirds which get good ratings and the clothes look nice, but I’ve never tried them.

Sancho's sells some really nice things too. It's a small independent shop in Exeter and online and stocks other ethical brands.
