Superfine are supposed to be really skinny (Kate Moss' fave) and my Topshop ones are pretty snug.

Sorry can't be of more help....

melsy · 05/10/2007 18:58

ok so gap stretchy ones, Top shop (although have the baxter ones in black and they still bag around the knees and upper calf) & Superfine , are we talking load-sa-dosh for the superfine ones?

I was looking at dp's ones (£25) , I know good value , but are they baggy legs again I wonder because of it?

I normally hate Next clothes (middle of the road) but their skinnies are great, they have a bit of stretch and mine have lasted for ages and still look great, a lot better fit than the Topshop Baxters and my Miss Sixtys.

They do them in a load of colours and lengths and are only 25 quid.

yes feeling that it is the stretchyness thats missing from my topshop ones, its sooo annoying. Purple sounds good cod. OH & yerr you go on and use that battery excuse eh cods !!!!

soo agree about Next Kitty, find them very dross for adults , kids are better , BUT thier maternity skinnies were really great. Properly skinny all the way down the leg. NBG can now be found sporting my ones and probably looking very cool!!!

Listen to me ,like its just the most imporrant thing in life lol. A good escapoe though from my crazy life right now.

Melsy - but it IS of fundamental importance to find a decent pair of jeans!

Plus, find with Next that they are 'oversized', is the only shop in the world where I can fit in size 8 hee hee.

orangina · 05/10/2007 20:08

I thought that the Gap ones weren't skinny enough last time I tried them on. Bought some lovely ones from French Connection a few months ago (a cream pair and a black pair), good fit, good stretch, a bit more ££ than Topshop, but nothing to make you gulp.

melsy · 05/10/2007 20:13

I have some straight legged Gap ones, I dont rate Gap jeans really , never liked them , even when working there decades ago , I hated how they fit me.

thats me out of gap then.

my inside leg measurement is something like 15" ( well that is a slight exageration- but not much)

bobbiewickham · 06/10/2007 15:34

Purple skinnies?

Are they not a bit, well - Rod Hull?
