Autumn style for the apocalypse

What are we supposed to wear for autumn these days? I usually love autumn dressing, but this year is not like the others, and I'm a little unenthused. I need comfort and basic style, nothing too structured but not scruffy either.

I could just buy the things I usually would, but I've become used to my Covid uniform of gym leggings, stretchy bra and loose top, and I'm not sure I'm ready for tights or jeans yet. I'm not going to work, I'm working from home, and the only place I'm really going to be going is the school run and the shop. So help me out - what's everyone wearing?

Watching with interest....this is me exactly. Although even the school run is different for me this year as the kids are old enough to be allowed to leave school on their own so they walk to the car. I can literally be a slob and no one is any the wiser!

Whatever you e got in the wardrobe from last year. I can't really see the point in new clothes for lounging around and WFH.

Lovely knitwear. If you don’t have any then now is the time to invest. Also, knitted dresses.

I want something new @TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 because I'm now dressing for comfort, and everything I've been wearing for that is summery. I can't wear my gym leggings with my boots, I'll look nuts! Usually in winter I wear dresses, tights and boots, or short a-line skirts with tights and boots. Sometimes skinny jeans with aforementioned boots... my trainers don't get a look in until April. Anyway, I don't want to carry on with dresses etc because it's all more structured than I want to wear for a full day sitting at my desk at home, but I can just fully give in to pyjama dressing because I do have to leave the house for school.
