quick! going to a cheese and wine eve in one hour- what to wear???!

its at ds's school. dh is going straight from work so will be in suit. should i wear a frock and heels? i have a lush grey ghost dress. do you think i would be overdressed in that with high wedges and tights and a fitted patterned coat???
i hate being 'overdressed' but surely noone will go casual?

lol! check out my other thread- the morning after the night before...........

i didnt wear my posh frock in the end- i felt out of place so just wore jeans and heels and a posh top. glad i didnt bother to dress up- you'll see why...
