Matte red lipstick - blue tone

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive lipstick that is a classic red that leans cool?

Fed up of buying ones that translate as garish orange or pink red when on.

Aisforharlot, it sounds like you have warm skin tones, so you probably won’t want a blue/red and might be better with some of the ones NOT recommended here, eg orangy.

@NomDePrune I'm another Maybelline Pioneer fan (in fact I have most of the range now!). It's pretty much bomb-proof.
