I need inspiration! Looking for new work clothes & can’t find anything I like (plus size)

Now back in the office in a public facing role so need to be reasonably smart. Usual workwear is just black trousers and a smart top but not wearing work stuff for 5 months has made me realise how much I need some new stuff, everything is faded and just old, verging in tatty looking.

Mostly looking for tops, I have new trousers and my dresses are still in decent shape. Nothing too expensive and no blouses as they always gape at the busy (K cup bra and a size 22, a well fitting blouse doesn’t exist).

My usual go-to’s are simply be, ASOS and Dorothy Perkins but everything just now seems to be overly fussy. Only back to work part time so needs to be relatively inexpensive. Where aren’t I looking?

Following, in the exact same position. I return to the office late next week and have nothing!

Sainsbury’s clothes section can be good for work stuff. I’m a double JJ/K cup so feel your pain on that part.

Sainsburys ... got a load in there recently! M&s too ...

Mango violetta, h&m plus size range, Evans, Seasalt, Joules, M&S.

Bravissimo are lovely for bigger bust and curvier women. A bit more expensive than ASOS etc but worth it for the better fit

Didn’t know H&M did plus size these days, just had a look and there’s some good options. Does anyone know how they are for sizing? I remember I always used to need to get up at least 2 sizes back when I was still small enough to buy clothes there.

I find the plus size range true to size but their 'standard' line which goes up to 20 or 22 ( they call it XL) hit and miss.
I use Klarna which doesn't leave credit card foot prints, you basically have a month to pay so i would order styles i fancy trying or two sizes if not sure, return them the same or next day and then pay for what i keep. It's less painful on the pocket and gives you more options. So yeah go for the plus size line... some items in cotton and solid no patterns so good for rewearing again and again.

Just to be clear the pay later klarna option doesnt leave credit card foot prints but the instalment option (pay for order in 3 months) might well leave foot prints.. obviously please check and read the terms and conditions before choosing...
