Application tips for concealer black creapy eyes

I've spent a fortune on correctors and concealers so don't need recommendations for products because chances are I own it Blush
What I'd love is a definitive guide to application if anyone can help.
YouTube is full of gorgeous 20 year olds who have one tiny blemish not a middle aged woman who looks like she's got two blacks eyes.
Any concealer pros out there?

Not sure if I’m a pro but I’m content with my application: it’s pretty standard stuff, build it up from a light application with a dabbing motion using your ring finger. Try to blur the edges of the dark circles rather than cover the whole area.
Alternatively for a heavier application (that may not work on crepey eyes) google baking, its the technique that drag queen use and one I turn to for big nights out.

Thanks @Thinkle. Do you do several layers, corrector or concealer or both?
My most purple bits are the side of my nose, would you just do that and ignore the circles.
I've googled baking, not sure if it'll accentuate my lines but worth a practice.
Sorry I sound clueless but I'm fed up with everyone asking me if I'm tired.

I use Glossier's stretch concealer, it warms up really well on my ring fingers and then I tap it where needed, building up coverage until I'm happy. Then I use a beauty blender to just soften it a bit.

I’m happy with my method - Tarte Shape Tape blended with a damp mini beauty blender. Then set with the tiniest amount of any translucent powder. Don’t bother baking - it looks shite even on 20 year olds in real life without the ring light they use for filming!

Thanks for the comments. I think my circles are probably too dark to cover fully but I'll have a go with a damp beauty blender.

If you have ANY texture or lines, do not bake. It will only accentuate them. You just need something creamy with lots of pigment. I suggest you research that and give it a shot. Wax-based products may be worth a shot. I'd ring PAM (precious about makeup) in London and ask there.

NC but coming back to say I have had a bit of success with your tips.
A dab of colour corrector, foundation then concealer with a damp beauty blender definitely showed an improvement. I was wary about using powder over the top, short of time going out, but will experiment.

I've had a yearning for tear trough fillers but it seems they're not suitable if you have loose skin.
