Shorts for chunky legs...

Does anyone have any ideas? I’m a short size 16 with chunky legs/knees but would love some sort of shorts for a camping holiday. Usually lots of floaty dresses or linen trousers but want something more practical/outdoorsy. Thank you!

Bit of an embarrassing one, but do short shorts not bunch and ride up, in between the thighs, when walking? I've terrible.chunky, rub-togethery thighs and can't imagine this not happening

I've not worn denim shorts for years until I discovered the topshop mom ones. All my friends have bought them now and they are really flattering!

Either denim shorts or gap chino shorts, and not too long.

have you actually read the description? short people carrying extra weight on their legs look rubbish in both denim and chino shorts. Literally the worst.

OP, wide leg, floppy shorts are best

I have exactly this issue unless I’m reeeeally slim. I think it probably depends on your shape. I have quite narrow hips (make up for it with ample bum) and chunky, muscular legs. I have to be a size 6 to not get terrible thigh chafing (usually I’m a 10) so either go for longer styles or go hard on the Vaseline.

Always size up and I love Tesco denim ones but next boy shorts are as good ..

I totally disagree, flimsy shorts do nothing for me and accentuate any extra weight. I guess every one is different.
