Saggy boobs bra help

Post pregnancy and breastfeeding and my boobs are sagging and... empty? Completely lacking in any fullness, my nipples are practically pointing to the floor, (I'm going to go with 5 on a clock face rather than a 6 😅) the sheer amount of stretch marks seems to be the culprit.

I've also lost over 50lbs since January, but none of my pre-pregnancy bras fit me (34c) I'm still wearing (now very unsupportive) soft, sleep-style maternity bras and I really want some new ones, but have no idea how to measure my boobs?
The 'normal' measurements do not seem to give the right size, the cup is always too small, as although they are small in volume, under the breast, in that sort of semi-circle shape, is still a larger size if that makes sense?
As I can't try any on or get professionally measured due to COVID, I'm hoping someone can help with how I buy a bra that might actually fit my 'new' boobs!

I also changed size after BF. I went to M&S to be measured and my previous 34C was measured at a new 34DD. When I expressed that I was impressed with being a double D, the assistant just looked at me and said 'it's not depth, it's width', and deflated my ego to match my apparently deflated boobs. Bravissimo have been my saviour and make my girls look impressive. I would definitely try them. They often don't even need to measure, they often look and can judge size they are that good.. I think a while after BF, the boobs seem to find shape again, albeit a different size. Mine don't seem as flat and empty as when I first stopped (mind you that's 17 years ago). Best of luck. Hope Bravissimo can help

Booborbust website should give an idea of size. Maybe need a different style suited to breast shape too

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2020 10:44

If you’ve lost 50lb I bet you aren’t still 34 around your under bust.

Shmithecat2 · 08/08/2020 10:47

Do not get measured at M&S, they still use the +4/+5 method which is massively outdated. Use the Boob or Bust calculator. Make sure it's a new tape measure. It sounds like you need balcony/balconette style bras - it's all explained on the link. I went from a 36DD to a 32J. It was a revelation!

Another vote for boob or bust. The info on there will also tell you what style of bra should work best for you depending on which way your nipples point - it's bra magic!

Branleuse · 08/08/2020 10:56

Id start with looking at full cup bras or balcony so they are lifted up without spilling out

Thank you for all the advice, I'll take a look!

OP, I’ve literally just seen on FB that Bravissimo have reopened many of their stores.

IwillrunIwillfly · 08/08/2020 13:12

Adding to the votes for book or bust! They have a Facebook page with lots of helpful info and a calculator to help work out your size.

SospanFrangipan · 08/08/2020 13:22

Head to bravissimo, they're brilliant. They don't measure with tapes, just by looking and trying on different bras as sizing to find what suits you best.

Handbaghag · 08/08/2020 13:36

Bravissimo measured me at 32E which looked amazing compared to the M&S 34DD they measured me at.

CrotchetyQuaver · 08/08/2020 14:07

head to bravissimo it sounds like you need expert help and guidance that internet shopping can't do

VictoriaBun · 08/08/2020 14:16

Just done boob or bust - 32H ShockShock !

ItsmineAllmine · 08/08/2020 20:24

My boobs are horribly saggy, i now have to go for a moulded cup. Anything else looks horrendous but moulded cups give me a decent shape.

Shmithecat2 · 08/08/2020 20:46

For those new to BoB, please lose the mindset that a higher cup size (ie F, G, H etc) means bigger tits. It doesn't. It's totally relative to tour band size. For example, an F cup on a 32 band will be of smaller size/volume to an F cup on a 38 band. Pic for clarity.
