Searching for the facial sunscreen holy grail: long-lasting, hydrating, doesn’t cause break outs

I’ve been searching for the perfect sun cream for my face for years and feel I’m still no closer to finding it. I find it so impractical to reapply every 2 hours when I’m out, even more so on days when I’m wearing make up. I would love to find a good all-day / long-lasting protection one.
My skin is dehydrated so I don’t like stuff with alcohol at the top of the ingredient list as it makes me look haggard. Nothing that is likely to cause a breakout. I’d rather not spend a fortune for a teeny tiny bottle that would only last a week if you put on enough to actually be effective.
Currently using an Avene one but don’t think I like it enough to repurchase... any recommendations?

Daughter (20, quite dry skin) loves frezyderm f50 velvet something that she buys on amazon. She said it goes on like a primer and is lovely under makeup as well as on its own. I just bought the £7 ambre solaire one from boots that nadine baggy was raving about - I don’t really do makeup on an everyday basis but I want something with high spf as I use dermatica, and that doesn’t give me a shiny face. If the rest Jews are to be believed, this one should tick my boxes at a great price.

I just bought the la roche Posay f50 facial spray as well for on holiday, for those ‘my face feels burny but I cba to move’ moments - boots are doing a discount deal where there’s a £5 discount on a £20 spend, with ambre solaire and LRP both being included

Thanks for all the recommendations, I’ve plumped for Heliocare Water Gel spf 50+ which is hydrating but not greasy, I’m loving it so far. Will bear your other tips in mind in case I need something different for winter.
