Is Glossier worth it?

I'm intrigued. What have you bought? Did you like it? I don't want to buy into a hype so I'd like to hear from some of you!

Genuinely yes. I saw a deal (buy a tinted moisturiser + concealor for a special price) and I was unsure but I liked the fact it was a more minimal look and as I'm 30 I felt like I wanted to tone down the amount I wear and I genuinely love it. The concealor is wonderful, I do wear powder as its very dewy but I won't ever buy another brand. Very impressed. Also lipstick is great, very subtle but has a great build up if you apply enough

Are there any products you've bought that were duds?

There's a recent thread in S&B called 'glossier favourites' with lots of good recommendations.

I only have four products, tinted moisturiser, concealer, eyebrow gel and lipstick. All great!

Come and join the chat on the Glossier favourites thread. I had fairly low expectations but really love everything I've bought so far, so I'm very pleasantly surprised. Make sure you get 10% off your first purchase by using a referral link - there are a few posted on the promos board. 👍🏻

I'm off to have a look! Not quite sure how I missed that thread but I did

I was gifted a load of Glossier stuff after banging on about wanting to try it for ages and was mostly underwhelmed to be honest.

If you already have quite nice skin, quite curled and defined eyelashes and are just looking to enhance certain things subtly and in a sheer and glowy (shiny) way then i think they can be quite nice. None of it will cover blemishes that well or very dark undereye circles etc, i found it all had very limited longevity and basically reminded me of Boots Natural Collection but with much savvier marketing.

I did like the cloud paint and would probably repurchase but would advise googling for swatches. I think they come out quite different in real life vs the packaging colours. The balm.com balms are also quite nice but its realistically just a lip balm so is overpriced IMO, but each to their own. Boybrow is very good and i'd repurchase but again do get similar results with a much cheaper product so it depends on what you're willing to spend really!
