Which bra would be suitable for this dress???

I have just ordered the dress in the link below, and now I'm panicking about what bra I will wear! I fell in love with the dress and didn't think about practicalities.
Do any of you have any recommendations as to which specific bra/style/brand would be best? I have seen stick on backless bras, and don't know if they're any good, or even an option for someone of 36D size.

As you can see from the images, the back is low, and backless apart from 2 fine crossover straps.

It is too low at the back for any kind of backless bra. I think your only options are a stick on bra, or to get cups sewn into the dress for a bit of support.

RunningFromInsanity · 02/08/2020 12:29

It’s designed to be worn braless
Maybe those stick on cups?

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 02/08/2020 12:30

Stick on cups/tit tape.

SingleHandSue · 02/08/2020 12:32

That’s a gorgeous dress, but you just don’t wear a bra with it.

Maybe the stuck on cup things but if you’re only a 36D (which I bet you’re not, try the many bra threads on here, you’ll see you’re wearing the wrong size) you can get away with no bra.

The only thing I could imagine is sew in cups to the dress and double sided tape your boobs into them.

melissasummerfield · 02/08/2020 12:56

Have a look at perky pear - they are brill !

TheBlueStocking · 02/08/2020 13:00

I think you'll have to go bra-less in that. Is that an option?

Argeles · 02/08/2020 13:00

Thank you so much for all of your replies. I will definitely start searching for stick on bras and tit tape now! If this fails with the dress, or I'm uncomfortable, I will sew in some cups.

@SingleHandSue
I got measured in a store shortly before the lockdown, and according to the advisor, that's my size. I bought a couple of bras in there in that size and they fit well, but no doubt in another shop I will be another size!

@melissasummerfield

I definitely will look, even just for the quirky name!

Now off to do a lot of research. If all fails, I'll go braless!

I wouldn’t wesr a bra with it. It’s not a dress designed to wear with. Braless is the only way to go.

Any of the improvised measures suggested, cups, tape is most likely to cause bulges in the wrong places.

Just avoid the trampoline.

Budapestpest · 02/08/2020 14:14

Where did you get measured op? If it was M&S then I wouldn’t trust it at all!

ChavvySexPond · 02/08/2020 14:27

You can't wear a bra with that dress.

And you can check your size here:

I came here just to say this!
