Trainers: Cool, but with excellent Arch Support?

Looking for exactly that! Going around in circles!

Style-wise, I want Air Force 1s, but they have very little arch support. (Weirdly, the Junior style I tried on seemed to have much better arch support - fluke or is that a thing?)

I have Asics for running which are excellent - but they don't work as a day-to-day leisure trainer with jeans or dresses.

Is there such a thing as a gorgeous looking trainer with really serious arch support? Please help me find them!

I have just bought some gel insert arch supports for this reason, they're not full length gel insoles but just stick onto the inside of the shoe in your arch, I've put them in Adidas gazelles and they are working well but there is already some arch support in those (just not enough for me).

I wear Brooks Adrenaline for running, they have removable insoles and I put full length orthotics in their place.

Not sure you would call them gorgeous but Brooks have good arch support.

I have seen two podiatrists and they both recommend, all day long, Asics.

I did have to drag it out of one of them though as they are not supposed to recommend brands. It was more a game of 'what do you wear'.

Not really sure about arch supports but my Air & Grace are far and away the most comfy trainers I’ve had. (Well, my running trainers are probably comfier actually but I wouldn’t wear them other than to run in!)

AllBirds. I am on my feet all day and they have cured my foot pain. I love how they look too

Of all my trainers, and i have a lot my nike 270 are the most supportive

I have Stan smiths. I just took the insole out and put a vionics insole in each one - it's marvellous, don't get sore feet / planters fasciitis when I wear them any more.

The only thing is that you need to check if the trainers you but have removable insoles and are wide enough to have the insoles inserted if you wanted to go down that route.

I have to have orthotic inserts due to plantar fasciitis ,they're pretty bulky but sit really well in Supergas...

I have a whole load of Nike's with various levels of support. They tend to have a wide toe box but narrow ankle, which suits me.

I like the look of some of the brooks but they do look narrow in the toe. I can't wear Adidas because even the wider styles are too high at the back and hurt my achilles tendon. I find the likes of superga far too heavy.

adidas Pure Boost X or Ultra Boost X if you can find some. The X is important - women's range only and specifically designed for arch support. I have stocks of them for probably the next 10 years. They feel weird the first time you wear them if you have high arches and are not used to a shoe touching your arch but they hug your feet and feel wonderful.
