I saw a thread about long hair so thought I would create my own one based on my hair, how do u rate it? Long or just mid length? Does it look nice?

Needs a deep conditioning treatment and a break from the straighteners, you can see lots of breakage in the 2nd photo.

Solaran · 20/07/2020 22:30

It’s fine but it’s not doing much. It’s not really a style, it could probably do with a bit of a cut and more shape and movement. Maybe a bit more attention to improve the condition.

sapphire54925 · 21/07/2020 16:03

Does it look better today now it's had a trim?

Nice hair?
OP posts:
WhiskersPete · 21/07/2020 16:08

No - it needs neatening up and some shape putting in. The trim is wonky.

SauvignonBlanketyBlank · 21/07/2020 16:09

Would benefit from a nicer colour imo maybe a chestnut brown

AllTheCakes · 21/07/2020 16:11

If you didn’t trim it yourself, then get back to the hairdresser and ask them to fix it. The ends are different lengths.

Fletchings · 21/07/2020 16:11

who did the trim? it is zickzack and looked better before. Sorry, OP.

sapphire54925 · 21/07/2020 16:16

I'm gonna colour it in a few weeks

OP posts:
IndecentFeminist · 21/07/2020 16:20

It's perfectly average hair. 🤷‍♀️

IndecentFeminist · 21/07/2020 16:21

It's not in great condition, looks overgrown. Lockdown hair

ItsSpittingEverybodyIn · 21/07/2020 16:32

Who took that last pic, Josef Fritzl?

SmileyClare · 21/07/2020 16:36

I think these answers are rather bitchy, why are you putting yourself through this op? Confused

Don't dye it yourself on the strength of these comments. Unless you know what you're doing, at home brown dyes come out very dark, almost black. Your hair looks light, especially in the front facing picture.
It could be a disaster.

Why not keep your natural low maintenance hair, you started this thread saying you love your hair after all. Smile

sapphire54925 · 21/07/2020 16:40

@smileyclaire I will be going to the hairdresser for colouring

OP posts:
RandyLionandDirtyDog · 21/07/2020 16:45

I’d love your long hair.
I gave myself a pixie cut during lockdown although it’s always kept short normally but I’d love swishy hair.

alicequartz · 21/07/2020 16:48

Who cut your hair op?

SmileyClare · 21/07/2020 17:36

Ok sorry I thought you said you were going to colour it yourself! What colour are you going?

sapphire54925 · 21/07/2020 18:09

Colour wise I'm looking at a nice caramel colour which is why I'm going hairdresser as it'll need to be lightened first

OP posts:
SmileyClare · 21/07/2020 18:16

A light caramel sounds like it might take your hair from nice to gorgeous. Maybe post some pics when it's done. I love a Before and After.

Pikachubaby · 21/07/2020 18:20

Oh, who cut it?

sapphire54925 · 21/07/2020 18:27

It won't be for a while I colour it as I'm having a baby in 3 weeks (c section booked) and i need to recover first so it's prob gonna be a bit longer than I want but yeah I can post a pic after

OP posts:
SmileyClare · 21/07/2020 18:57

Wow ok no wonder you had trouble straightening the back then! Good luck with new baby.

sapphire54925 · 21/07/2020 19:25

Thank u

OP posts:
Grumpymum789 · 21/07/2020 20:28

It looks like completely normal, natural hair. I would as someone to neaten up the back though.

optimisticpessimist01 · 21/07/2020 21:48

I'd get some caramel coloured highlights and possibly go for a long bob?

There's nothing wrong with your hair, its very normal. If you want something a bit more "wow!" it needs some shape into it

theoracle11 · 21/07/2020 22:09
