Subtle semi-permanent eyeliner

I'm seriously considering this treatment as my eyes look so much better with even a tiny bit of eyeliner and/or mascara, but I hate wearing eye make-up as my eyes are very sensitive and my eyelids seem quite oily, so it all slides off and smudges.

I just want a very subtle effect (like tiny dots between the top lashes (and maybe the outer edges of lower lashes).
I'll try and attach a photo of how i'd like them to look...

Has anyone had this done? I'm worried about too harsh a look, and also whether my sensitive eyes could take it. I'd hope that after the initial inevitable soreness, they'd calm down and I could be free of having to wear eye make-up.

Here's a random image from the interent of the effect I'm after:

I had this done. It’s often called lash enhancement and I love it. I’m due a top up next month, I go to El Trunchan: www.perfectdefinition.co.uk/harley-street-clinic

Look at her reviews as she gets consistently good reviews.

It was a bit sore during the process, but nothing unmanageable and healing was completely fine. It doesn’t look harsh (although I have dark eyelashes and dark hair so may be different on someone with lighter hair).

Ooh thanks Solaran - that sounds like exactly what I mean, "lash enhancement" via an eyeliner technique.
I assume yours is the subtle version? I have dark (but short) lashes and hair too, but am anxious to avoid a harsh line.
Did you get any scabbing, and how long does it last? Are the top-ups cheaper than the initial procedure?
Your practitioner looks promising - I will study the reviews in more detail. I want to go to a medical-type person like her rather than a beautician. There's one in west london I was looking at earlier who does medical scar tattooing etc.

I’ve had semi permanent but not the dot/lash enhancement! I’m glad I went for a full line top and bottom tbh.. I love it! You can now see my eyes when I don’t have any make up on!! 👀

Another endorsement! Did you have any reaction/scabbing/redness?

No scabbing, I took an anti histamine that night and the swelling was minimal. Just felt a bit sore and tight. I can’t recommend it enough! X

Oh and the lady that did mine was also a medical tattooist!

Hi @EyesWithAFace yes I had the subtle one, it doesn’t look like I have make up on but just makes my eyes a bit more defined.

I had some minor itching afterwards (like any skin as it heals it can be itchy) but honestly it was completely fine. I’m due a top up now a year after, although it still looks pretty good and could stretch to longer than a year. The top up is cheaper than the original treatment. I had my brows done too so there was a discount for getting two areas treated.

Oh and I didn’t have any scabbing, maybe a tiny bit of flaking but nothing that anyone would notice. It was a bit red and swollen immediately afterwards and the next morning but then fine - I’d maybe book it on a Friday though or plan to have a couple of days in so you don’t worry about how it looks immediately after. Oh and in case you don’t know you can’t get it wet until it heals! I had swimming goggles on in the shower Grin
