I bought a couple of things on here, im one week in and slightly greasier than I’d like but my hair is thicker and full of body instead of its usual fine and flyaway so I will persevere.

I went SLS and sulphate free during the beginning of lockdown (anything to fight the boredom!) And yeah it was a great choice. I've got products from Function of Beauty and Body Shop which both are more expensive than usual high street but I would say worth it for the quality and you really dont need to use much at all.
With FoB you do a sort of hair quiz and they then formulate the shampoo and conditioner for you so it feels premium, the packaging is nice too. With the Bodyshop the banana and Ginger range are my favourites as they smell so nice. My hair used to be massively dry and somehow also greasy and fly away but a few weeks after these new bits its soft, feels thicker and more voluminous and takes longer to get greasy. I also bought one of those silicone scalp massager things at the same time which may have also helped.

If you can stand peppy ott YouTubers, Brad Mondo has got some good tutorial vids about haircare, products and how to wash your hair.. sounds really stupid but actually helped me a lot.

Thank you all!

I currently used the Body Shop Banana ones but noticed when I was showering the other day that they do actually contain sulphates Confused

I'm using micellar shampoo, common brands like Nivea/Pantene.
I'm not crazy about it, I need to use a large quantity to feel that my hair is clean and I find it quite drying...but they say it's gentler for the hair somehow...
Just an info/opinion in case you may have been wondering about these too.

My son uses Faith in Nature for his ever growing locks and his hair is definitely in much better condition since using it.

I have used Faith in Nature in the past and love it. I have also recently started using solid bar shampoo from Nuddy - absolutely brilliant. I just wish they also did solid conditioner bars but they currently just have the shampoo. You can buy Faith in Nature over the counter but Nuddy is online.

Shea moisture is good too, it’s all silicone and sulphate free.
