conditioner made my hair fall out. How do I encourage regrowth?

Hi all! I splurged on a huge bottle of very expensive Bumble and Bumble conditioner for my long, balayaged hair back in April. it doesn't detangle so was pulling out handfuls of my hair when I combed it through despite me being as careful as possible. Im an idiot so persevered with it as it actually left my hair shiny etc. I have noticed that my hair is looking much thinner though with visible thin patches. I've started only using the conditioner as a treatment on already combed hair which of course I should have done all along, so I'm not pulling out loads of hair anymore.

Any ideas for getting it to grow back pronto??

I am getting loads of ads on social media for serums and things but no way of knowing what works. My hair is nearly waist length so it'll take years for it to be at full thickness again but it'd be nice to get rid of the patches on my scalp at least.

Are you definitely sure it was the pulling tangles through that has caused the hair loss?
I think it sounds quite bad and would be surprised if it was that, it wouldn't have been the conditioner at any rate, would have been you pulling at the hair.
If it is hair loss from this and no underlying issues then there's nothing you can do apart from wait for new hair to grow and use treatments on your hair to condition your hair.
I have been using garnier hair food on my bleached hair and really recommend it. It comes in a tub and is cheaper in savers and b&m than supermarkets.

Also what brush do you use? I have a tangle teezer and it is amazing for detangling, they do different ones for different hair types. My children have afro hair and its the only brush that goes straight through with no pain.

thanks Avoiding yes, agreed. it was the combing that pulled the hair out rather than it dropping out from the conditioner itself, but I suppose it was the lack of any detangling ingredients that led to having to pull so hard. I use a wide toothed comb, can't seem to get on with a tangle teezer.

Thanks for the recommendation, I tried to banana hair food and it seemed to be good value, as is loreal dream lengths (I don't love using loreal but I know that elvive at least detangles well).

I agree with PP about Hair Food mask - no silicones either. I usually use the coconut one. Definitely get a tangle teezer-type brush for wet hair too
