Can you give me some tips on budget primers? Also, tips to keep my makeup looking flawless for hours? Mine seems to slide off within a couple of hours. I want to be able to apply it in the morning and for it to still look reasonably good by the afternoon. With the current situation, I can't afford expensive cosmetics. Any advice, please?

Is this a new problem?.

My go to cheapy makeup is revolution. I like their stick foundation. And I love their fixing spray. I'm using the hyaluronic atm and its fab. (I always put it on before my mascara to avoid any smudging).

Elf poreless putty is raved about in the FB groups I’m on - it’s £10 from Boots

Thanks for all the recommendations. I'd not heard about Elf so going to give the poreless putty a try. I don't use a setting spray, maybe this is where I'm going wrong? Don Lewis - will try the Revolution one.

I'm in my forties, Estée Lauder double wear is my holy grail foundation however it's very expensive, the only foundation I've found to rival it (and I've tried a lot!) is revlon colourstay. Always buy something else to "try" and end up going back to this, they usually do buy one get one half price in boots/Superdrug every now and then and they do one for dry and one for oily skin.
