Bras for when you’ve just stopped nursing

What the title says, really. I’ve just stopped nursing child no 2, I’ve been pregnant and/or breastfeeding for the last 4 years. I was a neat 32d/c before all this and bazoinged out to a 34DD through the process. Boobs are now starting to deflate and I’m maybe losing some of the back fat too (fingers crossed).

I feel like I just want to strap everything down for 6 months while I slowly deflate, does anyone have recommendations for good bras for the transition? I don’t want my cleavage scooped to the sky so nothing enhancing, would like to support and minimise both the volume and the droop!

Thanks in advance

How about Molke? It's very supportive, but will accommodate several sizes.

Check Boob and Bust measuring out too, as 34DD is really not such a massive bust size, so you might need a different size.

I will have a look, had not heard of them before. Thanks!

For me 34DD (sometimes E) is extremely large - it’s 2-3 sizes up from my normal. I know it’s not as big as some but I have a small frame and they look comical!

I sound a very similar size to you and I finished breast feeding about 4 months ago. I’ve been wearing M&S minimiser bras as I hate my larger boobs and have been trying to disguise them till they hopefully go back to pre pregnancy size. I’m back to my pre pregnancy weight and I can now get back into some of my old bras so hopefully you won’t have to wait too much longer.

Just to add, the minimisers aren’t pretty but I’m happy with how they look under clothing.

Oh I'm interested in this! I'm just winding down to finish breastfeeding baby number 2 and can't wait for my boobs to deflate! I was wearing a 32D before pregnancy and after seeing recommendations on here for the boob or bust website I checked that a few months ago and got a 30GG! Which seemed crazy but I got a bra in that size and it was a revelation! So think I might have been slightly off before, so I'll do that again once they have gone down again

I wear 30 bras and am not small framed, so I would also guess that 34 might be too big back size, if you're small.

I'm in the same situation, it's been about 4 months since I stopped breastfeeding my son as well. I've lost a lot of fullness at the top and find Panache bras with upper lace sections seem to help. Definitely recommend ordering in your Boob and Bust size.

I’m 33in around my rib cage at the moment, I’m usually a 31.5. I really can’t go any smaller I’d be choked.

Will check out the m&s minimisers, I must say I walked into m&s pre covid as I was expecting to need a bra (I extended bfing a couple of months because of being around all the time for lockdown anyway!) and I found it all horribly depressing - big shiny boulder holders. So will have a look at the minimisers online as clearly didn’t see them!

Came to suggest boob or bust and molke! Enjoy your new found boob freedom op, I can only dream
