Doll styling head

Can anyone recommend a good doll's styling head?

My DD loves brushing hair and trying different styles so I thought this would be perfect for her birthday instead of her "styling" my hair! I had one when I was little and spent hours brushing and styling hair, the problem is I can't find one with good reviews 😔 most of the ones I've looked at say either the hair falls oit/too light so they fall over when being played with/the hair gets tatty and can't be brushed.

Does anyone have a child who has one that they can recommend? I'm looking at this one in Argos but it has mixed reviews and is quite a lot of money to spend on something that could be rubbish

Thanks!

Have you had a look at training mannequin heads, the sort that hair students use? They will be more expensive but obviously far better quality.

My DD had one and I threw it out within a couple of months. The hair texture was poor and very difficult to style. It matted very quickly and was useless. I have noticed all of DD's dolls have similar type hair. Maybe it is an environmental reason because I can't think why otherwise?

I had a dolls head and hair (the hair could be shortened too) when I was young and played with it for years. I'm pretty sure not a lot of money was spent on it, yet the hair texture on all my dolls was soft and manageable.

Agree with pp

You would be better finding a vintage Girls World or something similar
