Can you spill any anti-ageing and good skin secrets?

I'm late 20s not done much with my skin until now apart from making sure I remove my makeup every night - I use origins squalene cleanser and basic moisturisers (super drugs own day and night cream) and generally put SPF on everyday.

My skin can be a bit dull and I've always had very pronounced lines under my eyes (from inner corners downwards I'll attach picture) and dark circles.
What's most concerning is I'm noticing lines from my nose around my lips to my chin like the skin is beginning to sag and its visible in pictures from a certain angle - I'm not even 30 yet Sad

I'd love to workout a good routine that will be working to prevent signs of ageing, good cleanser and nice products that will make my skin supple and fresh looking. Anything that helps with evening out skin tone would be fab too.

It's my birthday coming up soon so I'm thinking of treating myself to a new routine that hopefully works.

Can I ask for your favourite products that work?
Any holy grails or tips?

Any advice that maybe isn't to do with products to help with maintaining good skin for years and years?

You can buy adhesive clear window films that block UVA.

@Popc0rn I wish I had known about retinol when I was in my 20’s! I heard about it 5 years ago (I was 36) but only started to use it 18 months ago

Do you use P20 & other general spfs on your face? I e always gone face specific so far. Like biore watery essence. Think LRP pulled on me.

As someone who has kept wrinkles at bay for 50+ years, in terms of moisturiser, this is super cheap but effective. Just nivea or astral cream for the base, then a layer of facial oil on top. I use Almond Oil which I am sure will have some mnetters turning in their graves but works for me.

And it lasts forever.

I think a lot of it is outside your control to be honest- genes play a big role in my opinion. Everyone in my extended family looks a lot younger than they really are. I don't think I've done anything particularly clever or virtuous to look younger than my years, I just got very lucky in the genetic lottery.
I do get asked what my "secret" is quite often, but I am sorry, I don't really have one.
That said, I agree with a lot of the other comments. I've never smoked, I don't drink any alcohol now and I do eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly and take a daily vitamin and mineral supplement these days. That hasn't always been the case though. In my youth I drank too much, stayed up late and lived on kebabs, the same as most of my friends. So whether lifestyle is a factor, I don't know. Not smoking is definitely key, the rest I am less convinced.
Sun exposure wise, I am a redhead and I burn very easily so I have always been careful. I tend to avoid the sun, cover up and wear wide brimmed hats etc as I don't like the feel of sunscreen in my skin and a lot of brands bring me out in a rash.
Which brings me to the last thing that I think might be significant. I'm often asked what I put on my skin and the answer is nothing. I hardly ever wear make up and my skin care regime is soap and water and a simple moisturiser - generally whatever is on offer in Tesco or I pinch a bit of my husband's diprobase that he gets for eczema. I really hate the feeling of make up or anything slimey on my face. Having a facial is torture for me, not a treat.I do the absolute minimum that I can get away with.So I do wonder if that has had an impact as my skin had been pretty much left in its natural state all my life. I know that's totally unhelpful to most normal people who enjoy wearing make up, but maybe giving your face make up free days every so often is a good idea, and definitely be very thorough about removing it.
My DD normally wears make up every day - expensive brands apparently though I don't know the names sorry - but during lockdown she has not been bothering, and skin problems that she has had since her early teens have completely cleared. She's decided she is going to wear a lot less from now on.
So I would say, try to live a generally healthy lifestyle, avoid too much sun exposure, let your skin "breathe" and definitely, definitely don't smoke. Then just keep your fingers crossed! And remember that how you behave and the way you think probably has at least as much effect on how people perceive you than whether you have a few grey hairs and lines on your face.
But what would I know? I'm no expert, but that's the way I see things. I think its more what's inside a person that matters anyway.

I've tried and used probably every skincare regime available ... from £1 products to top of the range
I absolutely love Decleor and Dermologica but found a review and tried a couple for products from "The Ordinary" and now have my whole routine from there
Love it and love the ethos behind the company ... at a quarter of the price
My only criticism is that it's difficult to know which order to use some of the products ... have a look online and available in select Boots .. limited range though

Good collagen supplements and a good spf sunscreen.
