Anyone tried nano/micro hair extensions?

My hair is shit. It's fine and no "volume" type shampoos ever work. If I use conditioner it drags it down and makes it greasy, if I don't use conditioner it's really dry and straw-like.

My hairdresser suggested micro/nano hair extensions but I can't get my head around it (not a pun) - surely they're constantly visible? Unless you spend ages doing your hair every day to hide them?

And can you feel the bumps in your head when you feel your hair?!

I'd really love to hear some real life opinions as everything on Google seems to be promoting them.

Sorry don't want you to have no feedback so hopefully this will bump for you,
I would maybe be interested in these ,but no idea what they are like
I am suffering with some hair loss, my dermatologist says it is stress-related and will grow back, but it's been 2 years now and getting worse not better
Are these easy to use and are they fairly inconspicuous ?
Do they have a name, brand etc?

I have been getting hair extensions for almost 20 years and by far the best are the pre bonded types. So Great Lengths, Gold Fever and U tip which are amazing and cheaper than the other two. I have never tried the micro rings but seen enough people out with them to put me off. Unless you have thick hair (which negates the need for extensions) they are really noticeable and I imagine v uncomfortable in bed
The problem with the pre bonded ones is that they are expensive. They are v v natural and unless you want to go v long you could probably get away with a half a head which would reduce the cost. When I tell people I have them they are so surprised but I don't go for the mermaid looks which helps I suppose. It is a commitment though as once you get them it is v hard to go back

I would go for tape ins they are lighter and less visible for fine hair, recommend foxy hair extensions. A lot of the breakage comes from keeping them in too long and not removing properly. They are easy to do yourself plenty of advice and tutorials on YouTube.
