Summer Interview Dress

Please help!
I have an interview in July for a teaching job that I really, really want.
The forecast for that week is looking pretty warm. All of my summer dresses are a bit too casual.
I also need something that doesn't show too much cleavage, not too short (not usually a problem as I'm 5ft!) and preferably not sleeveless.

Has anyone seen any thing fitting this description or any shops where I'm likely to find something?

Thanks!

Have you looked at Bravissimo? They have some good A-line styles that nip in at the waist. Might be good as you mentioned you are fairly big busted. I got an interview dress from there once (teaching too) and got the job!

I hope you don’t mind me jumping on, but I also have a teaching interview and was thinking a jumpsuit (long legs, wrap top) and belt. I wasn’t sure what you’d put on your legs in a summery dress?! Nude tights? Wouldn’t you roast?

www.bravissimo.com/products/kimono-dress-pd745/ Something like this perhaps.

I would go for a midi length dress and not bother with tights in the summer.

flibbertmygibbert · 27/06/2020 21:25

@ClubTropDeVin I didn’t even know Bravissimo did clothes!

ClubTropDeVin · 27/06/2020 21:36

@flibbertmygibbert they are amazing if you normally have to go up a size to accommodate your boobs!

flibbertmygibbert · 27/06/2020 21:40

Thanks. I do have big boobs and bum and a small waist. Nothing fits.

eBay is your friend. I've just put 'Bravissimo 10' in the eBay search bar, so many dresses to choose from, some once worn preloved (probably worn for an interview...don't we all do that) and some bargain priced new dresses.

@PersonaNonGarter - those Comptoir dresses are gorgeous. I stopped going in there because it was so expensive but those are a good price and so beautiful.

They’ve got an amazing sale on at the moment. Dresses £65 and tops and bottoms at £45. I got some jeans for £45 that had been £125.

I think their stuff is always such good quality and cut.
