Experienced full-time self-tanners....please help?

I’ve seen folks who are ALWAYS self-tanned beautifully. I have no problem with applying self-tan and favour St Tropez Express tan but I’m looking for some advice on a successful tanning routine?

I always seem to have to have about a week’s window between tanning sessions to let the old tan fade and come off, leaving me with week-long paleness!

Expert, full-time fake tanners, please share your routines and advice?!

Thank you 😊

I'm trying hard to fake tan but I'm starting to think it's a bit of an art form!! I've been trying a few over the past few months - the bondi sands milk was a bit orangey on me, St moritz professional too sticky and gloopy. I've still got some skinny tan to try out but there are mixed reviews about that one. My favourite by a long way so far has been St tropez medium mousse because it gives my skin a lovely colour and fades well.

I would love to hear from others re a self tanning routine.

You need a tan eraser mitt. Shower or bath, pat dry so skin is still damp and then use the mitt. Old tan comes off and ready to put new one on. Costs about £6

Any brand in particular? I've just googled and found a St Tropez one. The same price you stated too. So perhaps that's it. 😊

I apply my fake tan on a Thursday (either St Tropez express mousse or Tan Luxe in some moisturiser). I only shower, hot baths strip my tan quicker and then on a Wednesday evening I’ll have a bath and exfoliate everywhere. On Thursday I use Bondi Sands fake tan remover mousse to get everything off and start again. It’s a chore and a half but makes me feel so much better about myself.

@MorticiaAddamsIsMyStyleGuru erm it’s black and pink Blush

I get mine from place who does my brows and nails, it does work really well though. Have a good long soak so your skins soft and the tan literally falls off- you will need to shower afterwards to get all the bits off

I remove mine on Friday morning using a Turkish hammam glove from Amazon. I then reapply that evening using St Moriz and the brilliant Bondi Sands mitt (Black one). Then I add a layer of the Tan Luxe body butter the next day. Jobs a good ‘un!

I just gradual tanner, once a week or so in winter, up to once a day in summer. So easy.
