How to conceal bralette?

I've recently swapped my traditional bras for bralettes/crop tops/sports bras/whatever they're supposed to be called. They're so much more comfortable and do a great job of hiding the fact I'm flat chested, and keep me decent when I bend down, as then it just looks like I have a cami on. The trouble is if the neckline on my top slips a little to the side one or other of the wide straps is in view, which looks terrible, much worse than an ordinary bra strap. What can I do to keep my tops in place? I work with children and you know what they're like for pulling at your clothing, and with being up and down all the time, manhandling things, pushing buggies etc, my tops are always slipping a bit. What on earth can I do? Obviously I don't want to pin them or anything that damages my clothes/looks strange. I really want to look nice/smart/professional though, without my underwear on show!

What if you buy them in a different colour? Like black? Might then look like a top underneath rather than underwear.

Surely it'll just look like you're wearing a vest if the wider strap shows. Nothing wrong with that.

Alternatively, you need to do what they did in the 1950s to hide bra straps and sew in wee strips of fabric with a press stud in one side into the shoulders of all your tops. You then clip your bra(lette) strap into it. Hard to describe.
But that seems like quite a faff, so just go with not bothering about it.

The straps are designed to show.

Like this bra strap holder
I would just wear ones that look nice and go with your top.

The bralettes I buy have normal bra straps, at least thin straps so I don't really get the issue? M&S have loads to choose from. I'm also flat chested and find even underwired standard bras uncomfortable, but l love these.

Sounds like you're wearing a sports bra/crop top like this maybe?

If so, then they're not really designed for everyday wearing under everyday tops, so I'm not surprised they look odd. Also on the odd occasion I've stayed in my sports bras all day, I actually find them more uncomfortable than a bralette. They're thicker and tighter because they're designed to be supportive during sport.

Sorry, not the cheap answer, but I'd change your bralette!

If you don't like it that's fair enough but, honestly, it wouldn't look bad at all if part of a crop top shows. I wear them over a bra if the dress/top would have shown cleavage (which isn't really my thing).
