What sort of things do you wear/where do you shop if you’re apple shaped?

I’m more of an apple shape now and have no idea how to dress! I’m going back into the workplace in September and am finding it hard to visualise clothing on slim models into my apple shaped body! I’m about a size 16.

Where do you shop? And what do you wear?

Another apple here..
I find
Elastic waist trousers and skirts try uniqlo h & m and seasalt
Jumpsuits are surprisingly flattering
Show off the smallest part of your waist with fitted cardies blazers or jackets
Remove fabric belts and replace with proper belts which again are really flattering on the narrowest part of your waist/ribcage
Fit and flare jersey dresses try seasalt, look cute with a cropped cardie
Slim legs, jeggings or good fitting jeans,m&s try levis curve range too
Fitted vest or cami with a sheer blouse top or slouchy cardie
Avoid shift dresses and sleeveless anything
Good statement shoes boots
Tops that finish at that sweet point below belly are best
Knotted t shirts look flattering, you can do this yourself with any t shirt just split the side about a qtr way up then knot..

Some great tips there Jacquie! You must be a slimmer Apple than me though, as belts don’t look at all good, and I can’t stand the way they cut into me when I sit down 😨
I just bought a jumpsuit and knotted T’shirt just yesterday, though! (The jumpsuit was a bargain £20 from Fatface, and a gamble that paid off as I couldn’t try on.)
One pair of M&S jeggings turned up today, and some leggings. Leggings are fab, but the (Fuschia) jeggings are too tight to be flattering, and I’m worried that sizing up will make the hips and thigh area huge and baggy 🥺

They sound like my kinda tops hadtojoin. Looks like I’ve a couple of shops within about 10 miles, but not sure when I might be passing. Shame they’re not online Sad
