Botox or fillers for low down crows feet?

Those lines below the eye/top of cheekbones. I get botox on my forehead and frown but my practitioner says Botox can’t be placed too far beneath the eye due to safety. Anyone else heard this?

I’ve had Botox at the top of the cheek bone. So I guess that would come under crows feet area which you can Botox. You

can’t go directly under the eye though so maybe that is what they mean?

Tear trough filler is apparently good in that area

as above. crows feet botox is great but if its actually under the eye only filler or surgery(inc. laser) would help .
only certain people can have tear trough filler, it depends on your facial anatomy/ fat pad and amount of skin . it wasnt suitable for me and i had laser resurfacing to tighten the skin instead.

I have had laser too and it was great.

Tear trough is risky and yes not suitable for everyone.

I’d actually say Botox is not good around the eyes. I looked a bit scowly! And dead behind the eyes. Think Botox is best for the forehead.

Retinol eye cream?

I have botox for two problem areas - to lift my brows and droopy eyelids to make me look more awake and alert and to fix my lower crows feet that drag the outside corners of my eyes down. It works a treat. Except now when it hasn’t been done for nearly 7 months and I’m looking sleepy and droopy eyed.

The clinic reopens soon but it’s in Central London and I’m don’t think it’s an important enough reason to travel on public transport to get there.

😞. That’s a true to life Emoji of my droopy, tired looking eyes.

@Quarantimespringclean. I almost want to say it’s a great reason to travel into London but think it would be frowned upon (pun intended). I hadn’t even thought of laser........ (tootles off to investigate).

What is this laser under eye treatment? I have a ok face for my age but my under eye lines really get me down

NowYouListenToMeFella · 18/06/2020 20:17

I had tear trough fillers for under eye wrinkles and it did absolutely nothing for me and was pricey enough

there are a few types of laser, but theyre along the lines of Fraxl and / or co2 resurfacing. it burns the top few layers of skin off and reheals tigher/smooth. takes a couple of weeks to heal (not very pleasant) but the results have been good . lots of before and afters available if you google it.

I had a ‘3forme’ laser which has less recovery than a fraxel but still good results. Recovery time just a few days and skin is just a bit red a swollen. The laser stimulates new collagen growth and this one also worked on pigmentation.
