Do you wear clothes with pilling/friction?

Do you carry on wearing clothes that have pilling on them? Or do you declutter?

Yes, I do try and choose fabrics that are less likely to pill but I don’t get rid of clothes with pilling. Don’t wear pilled clothes for best but they’re fine for every day

Thanks, I'm trying to change my mindset on clothes. I normally can't stand any sort of pilling and have to declutter. But it's just trying to break that cycle and getting more wear out of my clothes.

I don’t tumble dry clothes I think that helps prevent pilling. I do tumble dry bedding and towels.

I have one of those little battery operated devices which shave the pilling off clothes. Very satisfying to do. I got it in John Lewis.

I choose fabric that's less likely to pill, and air-dry. And have one of those little depiller jobbies which I use as needed (or sometimes in a batch across a bunch of cardis for instance).

I am aware of which clothes look new Vs those that have piling and tend not to wear the ones with pills out much further than the supermarket or nursery drop off.

IDK how to spell 'pills', 'pils'...

I guess it's pilling or bobbling 😀

I don't know why I feel really strange seeing pilling on clothes and have to declutter. Especially with my 3 year olds clothes. Do you guys carry on making your kids wear clothes that have that worn out look or even the slightest bit of pilling? I think maybe it stems from the fact that I once got a rash from it (it was on the inside). But if it's on the outside I still react to it like Jim Carrey noticing a pimple. But I'm going to try wear those clothes out 'at home'.
