Need: A REALLY good Conditioner /Mask

Claricethecat45 · 10/06/2020 20:31

Had hair professionally coloured - root tint and highlights just before lock down.
Now its a fizzy damaged mess and however carefully I blow dry or don't - leaving it to dry naturally - it has texture of straw. Its never been this bad.

Any suggestions for a very effective smoothing mask or treatment ? like the type you get in salons ? Need help please, I look like a thatch in a heatwave - Thanks

It's olaplex 3 that you need. Not as strong as salon treatments but pretty much the best you can get for home use.

A good home remedy is heating a little coconut oil then massaging it on to your hair about an hour before you wash it. I put one of those turban things on. Then shampoo as usual. My hair's silky sift when I do that. No chemicals or silicone either.

Obviously make sure it's not too hot. You don't want to burn your scalp!

Olive oil works but Loreal do great hair masks. I like Coco & Eve and Kerestase but they're not cheap.

Christophe Robin Prickly Pear. it is expensive but the best.

Christophe Robin regenerating mask with prickly pear oil is the best I have tried. Very spendy, but amazing results.

Thanks - I will be giving Christophe the once over !
Have had mixed recommendations about Olaplex - great in Salon not so sure about home use?

I buy prickly pear oil from Akoma Skin Care or Naissance and use a few drops combed through my hair as a finishing treatment.
